Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has been dominated out of the rest of the continued India A tour towards New Zealand ‘A’ with a fractured wrist. In line with a BCCI assertion, Khaleel fractured the scaphoid bone in his left wrist throughout India A’s first unofficial ODI towards New Zealand A performed at Lincoln on January 22. The pacer had picked up two wickets for 46 runs within the match which India A received by 5 wickets. “His hand has been positioned in a plaster forged and the left-arm quick bowler has been dominated out of the rest of India A’s tour,” the BCCI assertion added.
“The Nationwide Cricket Academy (NCA) will handle his rehabilitation.”
New Zealand A received the second unofficial ODI by 29 runs on the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Friday. The third and closing unofficial ODI might be performed on Sunday.
After that, each the groups will take part in a two-match unofficial Check sequence starting January 30.
